10 hectares of nature. Everything is there: woods, stream, birds, mini farm, view, plants, smells, sunset… At La Vitarelle, life is simple. A good smell of hot coffee in the morning, a little bath before going for a walk, and in the evening when the children play while the grown-ups enjoy a good glass of wine, tapas and local flavours in a warm and relaxed atmosphere before sleeping in a cosy bed to the sound of crickets.

Just 20 minutes from the sublime Cité de Carcassonne, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Domaine de la Vitarelle welcomes you in a wooded and preserved 10-hectare bubble for a stay in the heart of nature.

Our 14 Safari Lodges and 10 Hikers’ cabins, nestled under the cedar trees, are all equipped with a private bathroom with shower, washbasin and WC, kitchenette and carefully decorated. Sleep under the stars, in the middle of nature with all the comfort and services of a hotel!

Many activities for everyone and all ages, are accessible nearby: swimming in the lake, wine tasting, cultural and culinary heritage, hiking or mountain biking in dreamy landscapes, caving, horse riding, the beaches of the Mediterranean are 1 hour away…

This little paradise is open from April to october! So come and relive your childhood dreams, reconnect, spend lovely time with your family, lover or friends.

Un endroit insolite à taille humaine très loin du tourisme de masse, à quelques kilomètres de Carcassonne, idéal pour visiter les nombreux sites touristiques aux alentours et aussi se ressourcer au calme, des cabanes atypiques tout confort et bien décorées dissimulées sous les cèdres.

Cadre superbe, piscine bien entretenue. Les chalets sont confortables et bien équipés. L’équipe est adorable, le bar et la cave bien fournie. Tout ça avec la fraîcheur le soir grace aux arbres, appréciable en cet été un peu chaud. On recommande et on reviendra.

Un environnement exceptionnel, au pied de la montagne noire, dans les cèdres, au calme, sans bruit.
Un lieu de repos ou se ressourcer en observant les oiseaux et les écureuils. Je recommande pour pouvoir se reposer, c’est idéal!
